This problem has occured twice and both time my computer had to use a past System Restore point to recover from the problem.
When adding pictures to "Create Sideshow" in Roxio Creator 9 (fully updated). The Windows screen rotates 90 degrees clockwise. This automatically changes the screen resolution on my Dell Inspiron E1505 dual core processor Laptop. When this occurs Create Sideshow locks up. It is very hard to use the mouse pad because it does not run correctly and works sideways also.
The pictures are located on an 300GB external USB2 hard drive.
Microsoft Windows has seen this problem before and they say that it relates to Picture editing software that is added to a screen that is smaller than the picture attempting to be added.
The problem could be with Roxio or Windows XP.
Regardless, Roxio's Create Sideshow cannot be used until I have a solution to this problem.
Hopefully, a dialoge can be established between Roxio and Windows.

I would be checking for a Video Card Driver update from Dell!
I think you are the first to post such a thing here, but there are plenty of similar posts on Dell Talk and it is not Roxio releated.
