I had an error code problem a few day's ago trying tu burn a photo project to discover that it was because the antivirus, that the operations would'nt finish properly, i then unplug the internet and shut off the antivirus and everyting came back to normal and haved then burn a DVD-R almost full (close 4.7 gig) 50 min. in time  with pictures + transitions and video.
antivirus take up a lot of power mostly when there is an antispyware and firewall all fonctionning together
Also a suggest that you forget about all RW disk
