server not loading toast

I am trying to install toast 8 on my server (10.4 osx).. but when i double click on the app. the app appears in the dock then disappears.. then nothing. i was using toast 7.. but i trashed and rebooted and still having this problem.

any suggestions?

Hmm, sounds kind of odd.  Do you have full read and write access in that location.

Are you actually running 10.4 Server or just referring to that machine as a server?

I am running it on the 10.4 server (G5).. i tried deleting the preferences and running the disk util but it doesnt matter. the program just shuts down.

I do.. i'm logged into the server as the admin.

Hmm... you just mentioned 10.4 server.  Are you running 10.4.8?  It only works with that version or above.

Yep.. 10.4.8 is the server version i'm using... any ideas?
