Can you give us some details such as what type of TiVo you have, how it is connected to your network, etc.

Thanks

The Tivo is a TCD-540
The nic is a dlink wireless dwl-g122. I have a tivo adapter on order.
I'm using WEP encryption.

I am able to connect via https to the IP of the tivo.

Bonjour connections don't appear in safari. So i'll try disabling wpa.

I have the same problem. Nothing showing up in the TIVO DVRs Menu.

I'm Running 10.4.8 on a dual G4 450mhz with 896RAM

Tivo Series 2 is on the netgear network with a linksys usb wireless.

I don't think its the connection, when I use the software TivoDecode Manager, I can see the Tivo and all of the shows.

But lets get the Official TivoToGo Working!

Update, the software seems to work fine on my Mac Mini (G4 10.4.8).

I have never installed the tivo desktop on the mac mini.

So i will try uninstalling/disabling the tivo desktop later today.

I am in the same boat. I downloaded  Toast 8 this morning just to get TIVO to go. I am running a PowerMac (not Intel) G-5 with 4 gigs of RAM running OSX 10.4.8.

This morning I bought Toast 8 via download.
Installed everything including TiVo Transfer
Opened it and put in my Media Key in the prefs
Downloaded the latest verison of TiVo Desktop software for Mac from TiVo
Restarted the computer
And when I open TiVo Transfer it does not recognize any TIVO DVRs. (I have two).
I know that my TiVos and my Mac can talk because my music and photos show up on my TiVo.
I have five Macs running in the house and my TiVos can access all of them for music and photos.

But when I go to TiVo Tranfer and try and click on TIVO DVRs, nothing happens.

My TiVo I am trying to access is a Series 2 Toshiba RS TX20

Any help would be appreciated.

Similar story, I am using wpa security, does anyone have this working with wireless encryption turned on?  I can see the DVR but nothing appears in the view pane when I click the DVR.  I have had earlier things installed that allowed me to do tivo transfers and am wondering if there might be some left over stuff at the UNIX level that is interfering....

Had the same problem but initially I changed the location to save downloaded files. I selected reset to save files in default location, close Tivo Transfer, re-open and it works. I then changed the save file location to my preference location and everything is OK.

I did exactly as you suggested and I still do not have any DVRs showing up in myTiVo Transfer window.

The Tivo Transfer was my number 1 reason for buying this software...  :D  :D  :D
Which does not work.  :)  :D

My Tivo Transfer Window sees my TVIO DVR but no titles are showing up.

I've reinstalled the TIVO software.
I've reset the Tivo's IP including letting the DHCP assign the IP Address and having Tivo set the IP address.
I've restarted the router a few times as well as my mac a few times.
Restarted the Tivo as well.

I've turned off my Firewall
Turned on Internet sharing through the Ethernet
I have the Tivo Desktop installed and Tivo recogonizes my Mac but it is slow to almost the point of usless.

My guess it has to do with the Mac's Ports or something, or the router port rules????

Intresting thing is that I just went to check out my media access key on the tivo to make sure it was the same as what I had cut and pasted from the Tivo web site only to find that the TIVO reads that the Access Key is Temporaroly not available[b][i]

gmoney in another thread said end up he/she found there is a VPN client setup in his/her Mac.  Temp. disable it fixed the problem.

tink in this thread said the Tivo Access Key some how has problem.

One of my customer also having similar problem and end up found his Tivo Access Key is wrong.  After key-in the correct one and DVR shows up right away.

There is a KB in Roxio also worth to read and try:
http://kb.roxio.com/...mation/000030GN

So, it is good to double check the Tivo Access Key from Tivo unit and confirm.  Also, double check Applications in your Mac to make sure there is no firewall proection program running.
