Ready Sync doesn't appear to work

I've had a lot of success manually selecting programs to convert to watch on my pocket PC and thought I would try ReadySync but nothing happens. I select a series which is on every week day and of which I have several episodes already recorded. I say Yes to converting existing shows and they don not get converted, neither do any new shows.

Any ideas?
