I just installed emc9 and when running msconfig to selective startup i get the messege after I uncheck the program that i do not want to start, and it happens weather or not it is a roxio program.

"an access denied error was returned while attempting to change a service. you may need to login using an administrator account to make the specified change"

i am the only account and the administrator and i have only gotten this messege before when i had another program ( that i have removed, and it corrected that messege).

why should i get this messege ? any ideas and/or solutions?

p.s. it seems that the unselected programs do not startup.
