I can not import certain types of .wav files into any Creator 9 application. The error message is that the file does not exist or is not a supported file. It appears to me that Creator 9 only works with .wav files with a PCM audio format and does not work with IMA ADPCM or Microsoft ADPCM audio formatted files. It is either that, or, Creator 9 does not support audio sample size of less than 8 bits. The PCM files that I have are 8 bit and the IMA ADPCM and Microsoft ADPCM files are both 4 bit. Does anyone have a similar experience and is there any way to work with or convert IMA ADPCM formatted files, preferably within Creator 9?

it's the bit size that's doing you in.I forget where but if you do a search of these forums you'll find a post that tells about this.
"Do you wanna see me crawl across the floor to you?
Do you wanna hear me beg you to take me back?
I'd gladly do it because....."

I found a program on download.com called Switch 1.05. It can convert practically any audio file to mp3 or any other format. It was easy to install and simple to use.
