Hi can anyone help

I have recorded from camcorder dvds and cassette some home movies which have a great crisp picture too them.

When i edit some of the footage using EMC9 using say the copy features or videowave i end up with crap quality of footage although it has been copied from the source.
Even when i burn a DVD it comes out poorer.

How can i get the exact same quality when editing original footage?

Depends onhow much you are trying to put ona disc. Single layer, 4.7 disc gets about 1 hour.  Dual layer, 8.5 disc gets about 1 hour 58min.  That it at 'best' quality.

It also depends on what format your source files are in.
