They're shipping now? Didn't know they was any other version of EMC9 out there but I guess I should have assumed there'd a been an OEM version made. Does it say what it includes?
My guess is that it'll be shortly before the Vista release date but what the heck do I know?

Click on the "HP Pavilion Media Center m7700 pc serie" and you'll see it's got Vista Premium pre-installed and Creator 9 Basic (see for instance http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/nl/nl/ho/WF...8-78125385.html, scroll down to the software section). I know... it's in Dutch
They'll probably be shipping by months end.
Martin
Edit: I assumed it was 9, but it just says "Roxio Creator Basic".

Hey Frank,
Yep, the HP site is quite easy to read I guess, since we take over a lot of English words especially in ICT
My honest opinion about EMC9? Apart from the new functionality (which is always nice and worth to pay for), it's the 8.1 bugfix release with a new theme/skin, which every EMC8 customer should have been entitled to have gotten for free. EMC9 acts much more stable on my Vista installation (even as it is now) than EMC8 ever did on my XP installation, so I'm quite happy with it.
I've had discussions on this board before about the Vista support confusion, but was a bit disappointed by the Roxio attitude, so I decided to take a break from it.
Cheers!
M.
