In the bottom right side of the roxio home  spash screen there is a box that says options. Double click that box and in the advance box is the box checked for auto run or not??

Autoplay for what type of file? Windows can define several different types. By default, ALL drives have autoplay turned ON for all available types. When you do this manually, you can define different types for each available drive.

Open MY COMPUTER
RIGHT click on the drive and select PROPERTIES
Choose a file type by clicking on the DOWN ARROW. See attachment.
Choose an application to open that file from the list.
Click OK.

WARNING: Some companies can and do install software without your knowledge by using autoplay. If you purchase a SONY audio disc with their DRM, it can install something that will mess with CD burning. Personally, I keep autoplay turned off to keep rogue software from installing.

Sounds like a problem with Drag to Disc. If you don't use it, you can uninstall just that part by using the Control Panel, Add/Remove Apps.  Got to EMC and select CHANGE.  Then MODIFY.  Unselect Drag to Disc.

Drag to Disc doesn't create universally compatible discs anyway and  I don't find that it is any easier than using Creator Classic.  If you perfer to use Drag to Disc, Then do the above, but instead choose REPAIR for that last step.  If  that doesn't fix it.  Do a malware and/or virus scan.
