I'm trying to burn a copy of an audio CD like I used to with version 8. I open Roxio Home, click on Audio CD in the frequently used column. I then get the Microsoft message about encountering a problem and must shut down. I've installed the buffer over-run fix.

I looked for Audio CD in Start/All Programs, but don't see it listed.

I'm using WindowsXP Pro.

Please help.

Have you also tried Music Disc Creator?  It's listed in the Programs menu under Roxio Easy Media Creator 9/Audio.
Don't know why it crashed but is this a commercial cd?  If so, it might have some copy protection scheme stopping the process.

I finall used Start/All Programs to get to RecordNowAudio, then clicked on "Create Audio CD for Car or Home CD Player". That brought me to the window I normally see when clicking on "Audio CD" in the most frequent list on the Home page.

Don't know why it doesn't work from Home. I can use the label maker to make a booklet OK from Home.

It was a commercial CD, but old so there were no copying restrictions on it.

Thanks for the reply.

RecordNow Audio is a bit different from Music Disc Creator and sometimes when 1 doesn't work, the other one does and may work better for you.
