So my TiVo transfer symptoms are different from the others I've seen posted, I queue up like ten shows, then the first show starts and transfers the first 40 MB, then it finishes, and then empties out the queue saying that all shows are transferred with the rest of the shows listed at 0 kb.  

I am on a dual 867 windtunnel,  Tivo Series 2, Tivo Transfer v 1.0 (044).

Ok, apparently it has to do with setting my external firewire drive (IOgear Ion) as the destination drive.  I can transfer to my internal hard drive, so it's not totally a bust.  However, for software that is designed to move ~1GB files, this is an embarrasing problem for them.
