When I want to burn the movie clip to disk, errors occurred in Encoding mode. It said "An recoverable device error occurred. Error while Encoding Movie". It happened during the Encoding process. I have already update the video card and change the rendering to "Software". It still stops in the middle of the process. Please advise.

Try burning your production to an image file or folder set, then burn then open Disc Copier and burn the file to a DVD.

Also, update the firmware for your DVD burner.

It does not allow me to output as other format except burning to disk. "Output As" is not highlighted on File->. Why???

What program are you using?  You don't output it as anything when you burn your production.

This is the screen that you should see when you click on the Burn button in MyDVD.

Eventually I can burn my disk from making an image file first. I doubted my DVD writer is not compatible with the software. I am using LG GSA-H10A. I have already updated my firmware. But it still cannot burn directly from My DVD program. I have to use Ulead Movie Foctory 5.0 to burn from the image file. Thanks for your advise. But do you have any idea why my DVD writer cannot be used with Easy Media Creator?

Have you tried using Disc Copier to burn that image file to a DVD?

It doesn't work either. That is why I suspect my DVD writer is not compatible.

If you can burn to the disc, from an image file, do it that way, instead of trying to burn it directly to a disc from MyDVD.
