CD format used by EZMD9

I am told that cd/ dvd created (session not closed) by version 9 can not be read by version 8.

Is it true?

Are you talking about Drag to Disc or some other application? Perhaps your answer is here.

My question was for CD-RW(rewritable) and CD-R.

I found
1) CD-RW creatred by v9 (D2D)- could not be ready by v8
2) CD-R created by V9 (D2D) - could not be read by v8

any ideas

Use Creator Classic, and you won't have any problems.

Type of media has nothing to do with it.

If you format with D2D V9 your discs will be fully readable and writable back to V6.

However, D2D discs formatted with versions prior to V9 will only be Readable to V9.
