The TiVo transfer recognizes my TiVo just fine and pulls files over the network, but when they're played on the Mac, the recordings have a heavy buzz/hum that's not present on the original. :) Haven't tried burning it. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Haven't seen this myself, what model TiVo do you have?

Send me a PM with your e-mail address please, we're going to need to look at this one further and I may not be able to recreate it without help.

I'm getting the exact same problem... Only my problem wasn't there initially. Any recordings I transferred on the day of installation are fine, but any recordings I have tried to transfer since then (yesterday or today) come across with perfect video, and no audio. There is a very low buzz and some "popping" every 5-6 seconds...

The toast movie player works fine, as the previously transferred files play fine through the player. The programs that have no audio when transferred have audio when i play them on the Tivo unit. I have not yet tried burining anything to disc.

So something is wrong with the Tivo Transfer setup or the decoding...

Any ideas? It seems crazy to me that it was working fine for a day and now it's not...

Thanks,
Bill
