Installed Toast Deluxe 4.0 on my Powerbook 1400 (os 7.6.1) 'cause it's the newest toast that runs under 7.6 (my yamaha 8824 external scsi isn't supported by toast 3.8 (go figure  :) )

(for those that don't remember this is a 133MHz PPC NOT G3)

anyway install worked fine with both PPC and Fat Universal, but Toast won't run.  Get "driverloaderlib not found"  I've seen others on other forums list this error, but no solutions... got any?

heard that ppc version of toast4 only runs on g3, and 68k only runs on old 68k...anybody got a solution?
(other than upgrade to os8.6 and toast 5 which I may have to do anyway. )

thanks in advance

I once had a PB 1400 and I think my SCSI Yamaha drive is a 6424.

That library file is not part of the Toast install. In fact, I've never heard of it.

Check the Drive Compatibility Database or the FAQ at www.xlr8yourmac.com to see if there are posts relating to this issue.

What you should have is a Toast CD Reader extension and possibly some Toast Firewire and USB extensions (which you can disable). The FAT install is all you should have needed.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
