EMC9 and Internet Online every time it opens

Why does EMC9 "call home" every time it opens?

Can this be disabled?

Why do we need it? :huh:

On the Home tab click options. The startup tab, but mine still tries to connect through port 80. Firewall don't allow and don't show me again, that should do fine!
