I am trying to email a small movie that I made on Creator 9's My DVD, but I don't know how. I forked out 45 bucks for a program called Total Video Converter, but I still can't get to the My DVD file. I know i need to convert it to an avi or an mpeg. Any Ideas?

How did you make the movie? What format was the file in that you input into MyDVD?Did you burn it to a disc or an .iso file? You may have had what you needed before you started.

Well, tbrewst. It was automatically created as a .dsmd file type. I didn't know that I had a choice in deciding which type to choose.

A dmsd file is not a video file but simply the list of instructions to myDVD on how to create the cideo DVD. To create a video file suitable for e-mailing you have to use Videowave and output in the format suitable for e-mail. I don't have EMC 9 loaded at the moment but I think its an wmv format, somebody else can give a more definite answer.

Right you are Walt!

From VW, File – Output As and click on the E-mail button.

It will be WMV file and a dropdown gives you 3 choices of size, 160 X 120, 320 X 240 or 640 X 480.
