When I try to export a dvd to mpeg files, it tells me the dvd is protected and wont export from it. Is there a way around this? I know I could just use another app like Mac the ripper to un-protect it and then use toast to export from the Video_TS folder.

But I'd rather not have to do that. Does anyone know is there a way for toast to export from "protected" dvds?

I've read another thread here that's answered my question. Looks like it can't be done. I wouldn't have bought it if i'd have known
