I am thinking about upgrading to EMC 9. I am reluctant because I am in the middle of a project in 8. I am wondering if I can export it to 9 and finish it there. Does anyone have any info about this?

You best finish that production in EMC 8 before loading EMC 9. You may lose transitions and text, if you open that production in EMC 9.

Is there any way to connect the movies and slideshows I have made in EMC 8 so they will play from start to finish without going back to the menu and me having to click on each chapter button?

I never really used EMC 8 for video work, but I think that you can only do that if you have the Deluxe version. Someone else may drop in and tell us if that is the case.

Can I download the Deluxe version so that I can do that? Also, do you know what the purpose of downloading the patch they have for EMC 8?

I suppose you could find the Deluxe version in a store such as Best Buy, but I am not sure. Possibly on e-bay.

I don't remember what the update fixed.

Depends on the files. Did you make them in Video Wave so you can convert them to mpg2 files? If so, you can simply use CTRL-Enter to select the mpg2 files one by one in the order you want them played. They will add to each other so you have only one button on MyDVD that will do all the shows in the order you want. You can add a chapter menu to start at any pint and play to the end.

Is this a duplicate post? I seem to remember answering this before and recently.

Annette, how'd the slide show that you were preparing in the Big Easy work out? I never heard back from you.
