Toast 8 will not open after first install

I tries to do all things listed in help page but did not work.
Any ideas?

What's your Mac and OS? Make sure it is G4 or above and 10.4.8 ire needed.

Some users said they cannot run it in G4 also. It seems like an unknown issue yet.

I had a similar problem when I first installed Toast 8. In my case, the problem was that I had removed some fonts from system/library/fonts directory because of font conflicts (I work for a printing company). In particular, Toast 8 seems to require that Helvetica be installed in that location. Reinstalling Helvetica solved the problem for me.
