audio problem when saved as iso

i have a few avi files that when played through divx player,bs player and even windows media player the sound is fine.but once saved as an iso file using emc8 there is no audio!! ahhhhh
there is even a case where i have downloaded a film in two parts,saved both into iso, the first part of the film is fine but the second again has no audio.i checked the properties of the each file and everything was the same except for the file size.???
could any 1 shine any light plz??

What is it you're trying to render and what part of the suite are you using?
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

OK - let's try this from the beginning
Are you trying to save an avi file to a CD/DVD or are you trying to render it for playing on a set-top player?
Is this a home movie or what is it?
What sound card are you using and what video?
What are your computer specs?

i am trying to save an avi file to an iso file.now when i play the avi file using bs player,windows media player or divx player the file is fine-- visual and audio,but once saved to an iso file using disc copier,i lose the audio.this has happened to maybe 7-8 films i have downloaded.
not sur that the sound card has anything to with it but i dont know what sound card i have.

I'm still confused here - you don't copy an avi file with disc copier - that is for copying optical discs or writing from iso files - you have to create the iso first using creator classic
btw - check also that you have the CD Audio unmuted in the volume control properties

you can save an avi file to iso using disc copier-video compilation-output---file/folder

how do you create an iso using creator classic??
