There are several Roxio services runing under XP: RoxioMediaDB.exe, RoxUpnpRenderer.exe, RoxUpnpServer.exe, and RoxWatch.exe.  Having these services running all the time consumes resources.  What do these services do, and if I disable the services will Roxio still work properly?

If you don't use Media manager to watch your folders or use Live share, etc, they can be set to manual (roxmediaDB is then started when needed by other components, but othewise remains stopped; as do the other services). But you should first check the settings in Media manager and also stop roxiwatch from loading at startup. See
