Hello.
Windows xp 64
2 gig memory
256 ati x850 vid card

When I try to start roxio using the start(home) icon it shows that roxio is starting up and before the program actually starts ..... it crashes and says unknown command...error.

If i choose individual programs of roxio to run under my start menu i can run anything.

How can i correct the quick start icon problem?

Thanks...Joe

Is that the one in the quick start tab, the desktop or in the start menu? There should be three of them (or are all of them causing errors?)
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

Sounds like a bad installation - there should also be one in the start menu - open the Roxio folder there and there should be a blue icon at the bottom of the folder list

You may have to do a clean install if it's missing - the details are posted in the tips and tricks section
