Toast and iSync conflict?

After installing Toast 8, iSync stopped working properly (Mac G4 DT with OS 10.4.8). Suddenly events won't sync between my Palm and iSync on my Mac (it was working perfectly before). Is this a coincidence? Anyone else have this problem?

Toast has nothing to do with iSync at all. Coincidence I would say. I sync my .Mac all the time with Toast running and I've never had a problem.
