this has probably happened to sombody else so im sorry if im rehashing. my windows xp sp2 has just been freshly reinstalled. I then installed creator 9 .allmy windows updates exept installing explorer 7 , im still using explorer 6 are up to date. i then installed my antivirus, panda titanium 2007. When i try to burn an audio cd ,i drag my mp3's from my folder to creator 9. it puts them up on the screen and tellsme their info and time etc.. in the lower left hand corner their's a cd mock up that tells me how much time is left on the blanck cd thats in my drive. after i have gone to the options on the lower right hand side of the program and made the setings that i want like sound normalizer etc i click on the orange button to burn .it seems to start then i get a windows message that the program has encountered a problem and has to shut down . it then gives the standard message to send a report to microsoft . Am i missing something here or missing some software or program for this to work .thanks for any help brydee

You don't want to use Creator Classic to burn mp3's.  Use either Music Disc Creator or the Jukebox function in the Home menu.

Sorry, I lost you.  What first screen that pops up?  What did you use to burn your audio cd?

When i first open creator 9 ,the first screen that comes up shows a little pair of headphones that say audio on them. if i run my mouse over this it says click here to make audio and juke box disks . that is where i tried to burn from and it would not work. if i go to the icon on top of that one that says home and go to applications it seems to work alwright so far.does that make any sence to you ? , or was i on the wrong track .     brydee

Yes it does now.  I thought you  meant Creator Classic 9 but you meant Easy Media Creator 9.  My bad.  At least you can make cd's now.  Let us know if you  have any other questions but play around a bit and you'll learn lots quickly.

I think it's just another case of the Home app not functioning correctly Paul.Sounds like that's the way they were going and not with MDC.
