Previous versions of myDVD allowed me to burn avi files with same named .srt or .sub files (the little DirectVOBSub prog would start - easy as pie) for the subtitles.  It appears that there is no way to do this with myDVD in EMC 9?

Please tell me I am a bone head and am doing something wrong.

I have EMC starting with version 7.5 but I don't recall any version supporting subtitle nor handling of *.srt or *.sub files. Maybe you are you referring to another program such as dvdIt Pro?

My previous version was Sonic MyDVD6... my guess that would be the last version that supported.  I guess i should see if I still have the DVD.
