Can I remove other programs from EMC8 and leave on MYDVD. I have an older copy of MYDVD 4 that came with my camera. Love the program, but wanted more. I purchased EMC8 and downloaded. I don't want all the other stuff, just MyDVD8 and something to burn to a disk.

Thank you for your help.

With v8, it doesn't matter if you have the downloaded or retail (cd's) version. You can do a custom install. If you have it already installed, you can just run the change option thru add/remove programs then select Modify from the prompts. If installing fresh, choose custom install

You will need to keep the Videowave and MyDVD selection.
If you want to try capturing from your camera with EMC8, you'll need to keep the Capture selection.
I would recommend also keeping Creator Classic and Disc Copier, as these will make it easier if you want to make additional copies of dvd's you create.

Even if you find another component would be helpful that you didn't install, you can always go back thru the change/modify process and add it.

I'd also recommend that you still install the content disc(or download) as this will give you more templates, transitions, effects, etc. to use in your productions.
