no drive detected

I can noy get creator 9 to find drives. "drag to disc" and "dvdinfopro" find all the drives. I already tried the patch as told to another user pxengine2_08_40d.exe but that gives me an error setupPx.ini can not be found. So now what can I do please HELP.
