My work had the old sonic BUMP installed on a computer and made weekly backups to an external hard drive.  Well the original hard drive went bad and I need to reinstall the back up.  Down side is I cannot find the disk for Sonic BUMP.  Will the new Roxio version be able to properly unpack and restore portions or all of the original .qic file created by Sonic BUMP?

If it cannot, does anyone know of a place to buy an older Sonic BUMP to be able to complete this task?

Thanks in advance for the help.

It depends upon which version you originally had. If your previous version of BUMP was 5 or 6, then the current version should be able to read the old backup files. If your previous version was 4 or lower, then the answer is no. They changed th compression algorithm between version 4 and 5. This is from memory, but I know the change was made, and I'm fairly sure it was between 4 and 5.
