I think I successfully installed toast 6 titanium on my g4'd blue and white (500 mhz). That is, the toast application comes up at least. I then tried to run both cd spin doctor 2 and motion picture, but both of them tell me I need to have toast 6 titanium installed.
Ummm, yes, I believe I have toast titanium 6 installed. I previously had toast 6 lite installed, but I trashed that before I installed the titanium version.
cd spin doctor

There are (or used to be) some knowledgebase articles about this in the Toast Support page. If you also have Toast 6 Lite installed, delete it. I think that is the major cause for this problem.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Ok. I saw someone else had the same issue, and I actually didn't have it installed properly....so I put it in my applications folder and it asked me for my password and then toast successfully installed. THEN I could use spin doctor...
Thanks.

Since reinstalling Toast have you opened the Toast application? The first time you open it you will be asked to accept the software licence.
Then try opening spin doctor again.
Then try opening spin doctor again.

Spin Dr 2 does not launch - says it needs Toast 6. I have the regular (not lite) version 6.1.1 with Spin 2.0.2 on an 10.3.9 G4. I've removed the empty VST folder. I've gone through the set up assistant 4 times. I've agreed to everything presented to me . . . and still no luck. Any other suggestions?? (other than upgrade)

Ensure that Toast is serialized and launched couple of times before attempting to launch CD SD. CDSD will do a check to ensure you have Toast 6 correctly installed. If not, trash everything related to Toast and do a fresh install.
