I am trying to burn some videos using quick dvd, it renders the whole thing but dosen't burn it, rather it burns something to it, i don't know what, but it ruins the dvd and i can't do anything with it but throw it away. I tried puting the .iso onto a dvd and it started burning put stoped a little way into it and said it ran into some kind of error and didn't finish it up.
is it just trying to burn to fast? Is it something else?
help please
thanks

Couple of things to try first
1: Download and install the latest version of DirectX (9.0c, December release)
2: Update your graphics card to the latest from the maker's website
3: Update your drive firmware
4: shut down ALL running apps prior to any rendering
5: Defrag the hard drive before starting
6: Try to render to the hard drive first (when you select burn, go to options and tell it to write to image file) and then open the image with disc copier
8: If you installed either Internet Explorer 7 and/or Windows Media Player 11, remove them (they break the Roxio programs as well as other apps)

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
