I must say that I'm about disgusted right now with this product.  I've happily used Roxio 6 for three years with next to no issues at all.  I only upgraded to v8 for the dual-layer dvd compatibility.  What a mistake!  Error code 80004005 using every program in the suite.  I have a Dell Dimension 8300, 3.0GHz P4 CPU, 2 GB RAM, 800 FSB, blah, blah, blah.  Ive downloaded all possible updates and fixes from Roxio to no avail.  I have the latest video drivers and DirectX.  The only successful burn that I've had was a test that I did with only 5 pictures in Slideshow, which tells me that my computer has all the necessary madness that Roxio calls for in using this product.  Has anyone actually had any success with any of the fixes from Roxio?  Besides slowing my computer to a near halt every time I launch the program, it doesn't function.   I spent four hours last night compiling a video slideshow with roughly 800 pictures(3.5 GB according to the program).  Apparently, I've asked far too much from this program as I received the dreaded 80004005 as soon as I tried to burn it.  Can anyone actually use this software and be productive?  I'm serious...has anyone ever produces a slideshow with over 20 pictures that will actually burn?  Or a video that actually burned correctly?  I'm about to throw in the towel on this product.  Any insight would be appreciated.   :)

Don't double post - it doesn't produce any more answers. Stick to one thread and check on that for replies
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
