I've got an xvid avi file that plays fine in VLC, but plays with video but no sound in Quicktime and the Toast video preview, and burned to DVD with video but no sound.
I think this is an ac3 issue but after checking out the forums and google I am at a loss as to what to do.
It seems there are a lot of options for Windows boxes, but I can't much at all for OS X.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Download and Install the QT AC3 decoder.

Then the files will have sound.
