Disk copier

I have a EMC 9 i have tried umpteen times to copy a dvd with the disk copier feature but it will NOT work. It doesn't matter if I use plus or minus disks, nothing works. My PC is only three months old, it had roxio installed when i bought it and i upgraded to EMC 9.....fed up with it. HELP

It will NOT work if you are trying to copy a protected disc. Don't know where you are but this program adheres to the US rules. Did you get the message when you put the disc in the drive or simply opened the program? Sorry, you cannot even archive a protected disc that you own.
If you are not copying a protected disc, disable Drag2Disc if you have that running. Do not format the blanks.

You had the computer for three months but the manufacturer could have had the parts sitting around for many more. Update all your drivers and also the firmware for the burner.
