Error 80040207 while encoding menu

Could someone please help me with this error. I just brought a new sony AR series notebook but have received this error in my dvd 9

A few things to check is that you have the latest video driver and DirectX installed.
Please post back with more specific computer specs and exactly what you were doing when you received this error.

I changed it from hardware to software and it worked fine--Thanks
