I have a iMac, running 10.4.8, its less than a week old. and the first software I installed was Toast 8 mainly to get the Tivo Transfer option. My Tivo will not show up on the left side where its supposed to. I have tried playing with the firewall settings, sharing, and other things I have read on these boards...gmail notifier, java update etc. I have restarted the Tivo, the mac, the router, everything. My Tivo has been hardwired to my network for well over a year, so i know the network is fine. Can someone shed some light on the problem for me?

The Library list is for shows that have already been transfered to your Mac from your TiVo. The TiVo units show up under the TiVo DVR list - that's where you browse the contents and find the shows to transfer over.
Some people on other threads report that they have had success by powering up and down the network router and the TiVo once.
