PHOTOSUITE PLATINUM 4 will not install on new PC

I know that PS Platinum 4 is an older version but it worked fine for me on my other PC and I really did not need to upgrade it. I just got a new high powered Dell and when setup runs it stops at 99% and then after a while disappears from the screen. I have tried to use setup and autorun directly from the cd contents but same thing happens. Have old copy of PS III SE so thought I would try that but same thing happens. Since I am running Windows XP Media Center I used the software compatibility wizard to have PS install as though I was using Windows 98 or ME but same thing happens. I was running XP Home edition on other PC and PS worked just fine.

Any ideas as to how to get it to install would be appreciated. I have loaded software on this new Dell that is much older than PS 4 and they install fine.
