I have not seen this problem mentioned (I went back a few pages) so forgive me if it has already been discussed.

I worked all day on my "Chapter 5", which the finished product would have been around 30 minutes long.  It had video clips, 5 songs, several photos and assorted transitions.  I did have problems everytime I edited text and had to store and close with each text edit but the production always came back when I restarted it.

My problem is this morning I wanted to finish the credits (scrolling text) and render the files.  I added the text, stored and had a cup of coffee and when I returned it would not reload my production!  The error was "Videowave was unable to load specific production.  The file might be corrupted or of an incompatible version."

With the old version (8) if there were corrupted files it would give me the opportunity to browse for them.  This is the whole movie!

Any ideas?

This program is sooooo quirky but it is the one I know how to use, I hate to lose all my work!

You could reboot and try opening it again, but if it won't open, I don't know that you can recover the production. :)

I have tried rebooting several times...doesn't solve.  There should not be any children within ear shot of my house this morning...

I have the same problem on a documentary I've spent several months putting together.  Where do we go from here?

Windows Restore or from your back up files.

You did work with two different files names alternating the save as command?

Bill, I saw you were active in V7/7.5 D2D and back up areas So you must have a back up for that project.
