I have read and read and studied an studied, but i cant get the background part to making a DVD. its not like my version 7.. cant put thumbnails on or to get it to match up with the procuction..

Need more information on what you are doing. When you 'add movie', thumbnails are created automatically IF you have chosen a menu style with those. EMC 9 now includes menu styles that have text only buttons. The DEFAULT style is text only.
