What version of EMC do I need to be able to record analogue line in from my audio system. I have EMC 8 but it seems to be a cut-down version, "Roxio Creator 8 Essentials Home". Used to have version 6 which worked fine 'til one day it decided to update itself and then couldn't find my DVD writer. Technophobe  musician asking here, so please  explain things as to an idiot!! :)

For 'lost' drives, there is a fix:

Not knowing what is missing in the light version, I can only suggest that if you don't have any audio section, that you import the file from the line in using Sound Recorder and then use that to make the CD
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
