Another question in my quest to learn Roxio V8 as a long time V6 user. In Roxio 6, I was able to define how long each chapter should be while importing video. In V8, it seems to auto-create chapters whenever there is a pause in the camcorder video(nice feature!). So, I just imported a 1hr video from my camcorder using the import tool in V8. When I go to find the files on my hard drive, it shows as one giant 12GB file, instead of the multiple chapters that are easy to work with. Why is this happening? How do I change this to save each chapter as an individual file? I dug through the Options and help files to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Not needed! V6's approach was during capture was marginal at best. Most of mine have a slight 'bump' in the time lost by closing one file and opening the next. You can't see it but you can hear it!
Starting in V7 a better solution was employed. The capture is one large file. In MyDVD (V8 calls it DVD Builder) you click on the Title and select Create Chapters. You can manually set the points or allow an auto create ever xxxx minutes. You can use them with or without Chapter Menus.
There is simply no need for bunch of files when one will do it all.
