Scott/Roxio,

When do you think the next update/patch will be for DVDit Pro HD?

I hear you...  :)

I've found the problem clip I'm having but I used the same settings as the other 3 clips which DVDit is OK with but I get the EOF error on the one.  Just hoping there will be a fix or a workaround.

well, if you're hoping for a fix/workaround, I'm hoping for a complete re-write of the software and for us beta-testers to get it for free, I've tried it, re-installed my operating system, tried it again, many times, now I've given up on it, turned out to be a complete waste of money for me. I'll wait for the Nero one due out soon

mmace.  I truly apologize for the issues you have suffered with, but I PM'd you 20-30 days ago to get on the phone with you to help you solve your issues and you declined.  I also offered you a refund and you declined.  no one else is having the level of issues you are having.  Many people are successfully getting stunning HD Blu-ray discs from the software.  If you would like some phone time to try to solve your issues, please PM me and we will set it up.

Scott
I didn't "decline" the phone offer, I said it wouldn't be possible with the time differences and the amount of time I actually get to spend on the PC when the wife's about, and with her due to have a baby any day I have to look after her 1st as we've had a rough pregnancy.

I was hoping that something would be released like a fix or update that would rectify my issues (as I stated in the PM to you) so I wouldn't need to get a refund, as you say, it's been a month and nothing seems to be happening

That's the reason I asked the question... :)

Atleast get a target release date....

Scott, please PM me with the address to send the disc to that has my clip that DVDit chokes on.

if the issue you experienced is easily duplicated by a lot of users, maybe it would take less time to release a fix for it. If the issue just applies to you, I don't think any software company would just rush a fix for one incident. my .02

There have been a few well documented errors with DVDit Pro HD (activation, eof, etc...) that applies to everyone.  When a program won't even startup (activation) because of an error, you would think you would want to release a patch immediately.   :)

don't know about the eof error but I never encountered the script error for activation... so I'm sure it does not apply to everyone as you stated...

It may not apply to you but Scott is well aware of the issues with activation.  You may also have not run into any problems but there are a few of us who seem to keep getting them and that's we are and to a point of not even using the software.  Do you think that is good for any company?!?  Your looking at small market already so if I was to be asked about DVDit, I would recommend waiting till it's more stable.  Plus not all the blu-ray players are supporting /BDMV...
