i am a new user of MyDVD Premier 8. when I open the pan and zoom editor, i see the manual, preset and advance choices, but pictures and bounding boxes never appear????....so there's nothing to edit....any ideas? I have tried asking Roxio "Roxanne" but it seems useless and I've been on "live chat" #1 in queue over an hour with no response at all......quite frustrating and thanks, Vanhollow

With the full EMC 9 there is a glitch in the home page application. It may also be in V8. Open MyDVD Premier 8 from the Windows>Programs menu. See if you have the pan and zoom panes there.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Video Card? V8 and V9 make extensive use of the video card for rendering images. What card/chip do you have? Have you updated the drivers for the card, updated Microsoft's DirectX 9c, uninstalled (rolled back) WMP 11 to WMP10 and IE 7 to IE 6?
You could also try completing your project in VideoWave without the pan and zoom and saving it. Open MyDVD, add that new movie (your project). Select that movie and right click it to edit movie. See if the other two panels in pan and zoom show up there. (from experience).
