Since I am having a few problems with EMC9 I thought I would uninstall and try again. I noticed a program on my Add/remove list that I don't recognize and was wondering is it a part of EMC9? The program is SightSpeed.

Yes, it is installed with EMC 9 unless you choose not to install it. Sightspeed is a Voice over IP application.
