I am using an Adaptec VidiOh! PCI AVC-2010 Capture card to capture analog video. The software that orginally came with the capture card (Sonic MyDVD 5.X for Windows XP) gave the option to disable video preview during capture to improve picture quality. Is this option available with the Media Import program in Easy Media Creator 9, or is it an issue anymore?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

If your system is fast enough, it shouldn't be an issue anymore.
