Hello,

When I write (for example creating a new directory) to a CD-RW my PC with WIN XP SP2 crashes with a blue screen with a message mentioning RDV_FILE_SYSTEM and cdudf.sys

The disk was formatted before with Drag-to-Disk.

How can I solve this problem?

I already searched a lot and I don't know more...

Thanks for all inputs.

It is a Norton AV problem.

You would have to turn off Active Scan and contact Norton to see if they have a fix yet.

Hello James,

Many thanks for your help: you were right, the problem was Symantec AV. I use the Corporate Edition 10 and I found a new release dated December 27 and it works fine.

I could also have think of it!

Best regards.
