There seems to be a few problems with this card - specifically some of the drivers (there are a set of them - crossbar, etc)

Check this webpage

Use the software that came with the capture card, and then use the captured files in VideoWave, for editing.

Are you running IE7 or WMP11? Either of those (especially IE7) will break EMC 7/7.5 and you will have to uninstall IE7 and revert back to IE6. I have the same video card as you and have absolutely no problem using it in running EMC 7.5.

Where did you update your drivers from ? Dell or the manufacturer ??

What are the version drivers you are using Walt ? Not sure if that might help the OP but might :)

GeForce FX5200 driver:  I have not bothered to update to newer drivers since it works fine.
