When trying to set the limited recording it won't let me key in anything over 300 minutes so I have to keep hitting the plus sign and when trying to record long sessions (7 hours) it runs into some sort of error issue.
Any ideas?

I don't, but I have to wonder what errors there will be in a 7 hour capture, anyway.  Are you capturing from the Internet?

You won't fit it on one DVD. :)

I'm recording a show from my satellite tuner. It used to work fine with MusicMatch 8 until I installed itunes and rendered it useless. Funny thing is, I'm having problems with the timer on Musicmatch 10 too! All runtime C+++ errors.
I tried some of the remedies I've already found on the boards but have had no luck.

Did you install IE7 and WMP11?

WMP11 has very tight DRM compared to earlier versions.

Try removing both if they're there and see if there's an improvement

I'm able to key in much longer times but of course I'm not going to try capturing 7 hours.  Just to make sure, how much free and defraggmented space do you have on your hard drive?  It is NTFS?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

PC  Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Velocity Micro ProMagix ©HD 60; evga x58 motherboard, Intel i7 @2.93, 12G RAM, EVGA Nvidia 560TI superclocked video card, SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme audio card, Buffalo external blu-ray burner; Creator 2012. PhotoShow 6, VHS to DVD 3Plus.

Laptop - Windows 7 Home
Dell XPS 1645, Intel I7 1,6G with overdrive ,4G RAM, 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730, Sound Blaster X-Fi MB Panzer, 500G hard drive.

Apple =OSX 10.5
MacBook Pro; 15.4-inch widescreen display, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB memory, 200GB hard drive, 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB of GDDR3 memory.  ILife 08, Toast 10, Final Cut Express 4 and Photoshop 4.

I've got both IE7 and WMP 11 installed and 77GB free on my main hard drive and 37 GB on my slave.
I'll try dumping WMP first and see what happens.
Thanks everybody. I'll let you know how it goes.
