When I doubleclick on Spyblaster v3.5.1 it also opens EasyMedia 9 to "install" at the sametime. Always have to cancel to continue with Spyblaster update. Is there a fix?

You might try either removing Spyblaser and reinstalling or trying a repair install of Spyblaster.
Programs like that should be shutdown when installing new software as sometimes they see things in the install programs that it thinks is spyware.

I would recommend that you remove Spyblaster.  Windows Defender is free, and it seems to be the best possible defense against spyware and malware.  Are you running the latest and greatest version of Windows Defender?  I've never had a problem since Defender came out.

maybe you should contact the support for Spyblaster and ask them why the shortcut for their program is launching other software...

Did you mean Spyblaster, or Spywareblaster 3.5.1?
If you meant the latter it only needs to be opened to check for updates. It dooes not run in the background, it just sets registry entries to add bad sites to restricted zone, block bad active X etc.
